Behind Moments by Miriam

 Image

This is where it began

A little over a year ago, I was at the point where I kept repeating to myself:

“Just hold on until December. Survive until then.”

I had accumulated nearly 1,000 hours of overtime in six months and, despite that, I kept convincing myself to push a little further.

Then, on July 10, I was laid off.

At the time, it was a hard blow. But a few days later, I began to feel something I wasn't expecting at all: relief.

Then even excitement. As if I could finally breathe again.

I felt like life had just done for me what I hadn’t had the courage to do myself: force me to stop abandoning myself.

I then made myself a promise: never put myself last again. Never wait until I’m on the verge of burnout to finally allow myself to make my well-being and my happiness a priority.

And I quickly realized that, to keep this promise, I didn’t need more discipline or another thing to add to my to-do list.

I needed more intention. More space. More devotion to myself.

Little by little, this idea began to change how I moved through my days. When stress or overwhelm crept back in, I would ask myself: what really matters? What do I want my days to look like? How do I want to feel?

And that is where the idea behind Moments by Miriam began to come to life.

The funny thing is that, in reality, a large part of what would become Moments had already been there for years.

For almost ten years, I had been filling journal after journal, taking workshops, reading personal development books, listening to hours of podcasts, and spending a lot of time trying to understand my own patterns, beliefs, and inner workings.

And naturally, when someone around me was going through something, I always wanted to understand what was happening and share what had helped me or might potentially help them too.

One evening, a very simple conversation with my fiancé helped me see what I didn't yet dare to admit to myself: this was it, this was my thing.

For the first time, I allowed myself to imagine building my professional life around what had already been filling my personal life for years.

And that is why I am building Moments by Miriam today.

To transform everything I have learned, tested, and lived on my own path into tools and rituals that can, in turn, help other women find their way back to themselves.

It starts with journals, but I already have a million ideas bubbling over, and some are already in development..

From stress to devotion

From OH NOOO.... to OOOH YEAH !
